Happy Valentine's Day! Does anyone have any exciting plans? I had class earlier, but I think tonight my boyfriend and I are going to go to the beach with my roommate and her boyfriend. The weather's been great, so it shouldn't be too cold! I usually don't like to make a big deal out of Valentine's Day, so I'm glad we're doing something simple, sweet, and lowkey.
The manicure I have for you today isn't super Valentines-y, but I still think it's appropriate for today! I used one of my new favorite polishes, OPI My Vampire is Buff, and my amazingly talented roommate painted a single rose on the ring finger on my right hand. Click on the link below to see more photos, and for a review of My Vampire is Buff!
My Vampire is Buff was just released as part of OPI's Euro Centrale collection for spring. I've been eying so many polishes from all the spring collections that we've seen recently, and Euro Centrale is no exception! I also picked up Can't Find my Czechbook, I Saw, U Saw, We Saw... Warsaw, and Polka.com. I can't wait to try them all and show you swatches!
But anyway, for today I'll focus on My Vampire is Buff. It's an off-white creme that has some yellow/peach undertones that make it look almost beige. I don't know if I would reallllyyy call it a nude, since it's somewhat vibrant. I absolutely LOVE this color. It's chic, modern, and it stands out. It's so gorgeous, I can't stop looking at my nails. It also doesn't hurt that it makes me look much tanner than I am. My Vampire is Buff is for sure one of my new favorite polishes!
The formula actually wasn't bad either! A lot of the reviews I've seen have commented that this polish is streaky, but I didn't really have many issues. The first two coats go on a little streaky, but the third coat was self-leveling and made the polish look nice and creamy. Not bad for such a light color, if you ask me!
I took a LOT of pictures so I could really capture this polish, and show you the rose my roommate painted on! Yesterday was her first time every using a nail art brush, and I think the end result is amazing, especially for a first attempt! I can't wait to see what other things she comes up with. I told her she can practice on my nails whenever she wants. =D Stoked! Haha. Anyways, the colors used for the rose are OPI Kennebunk-Port (red) and China Glaze Exotic Encounters (green). I used one coat of Sally Hansen Insta-Dri to top it all off.

So what do you guys think of this shade? As you already know, I'm slightly obsessed with it. I actually think I'm going to rock this manicure for a few days! Which is a little crazy for me haha. And do you like the rose? Props to my amazing roommate for the nail art!
I hope you have a great Valentine's Day, and thanks for reading! =)
