a England Dragon

Hey guys!

Did you have a fun weekend? I definitely did! It was really relaxing and I got a lot of good, quality friend and family time in, which is always really nice.  And Lily's Super Bowl party was so much fun! She's literally the best party host ever... I think she only sat down for a total of two minutes because she was busy buzzing around tending to all her guests. We all ate so much I was SO full... ugh!  It also makes sense then that she's the best hostess ever... if there was a #1 hostess in American award, I would vote for her!

Another great thing about her party besides all the great food was that there were a few girls there who love nail polish! I always get so excited when I find people that want to talk about nails and obsess over them. It literally makes my day. I was really glad I was wearing such a beautiful shade that day too, and it's the polish I'm going to show you today!

It's called Dragon by a England, and... LOVE.  Absolutely LOVE. Click on the link below to see more pictures and a review!

I love the sense of fantasy a England expresses through polish. All of a England's collections have a story, and a England's Legend collection is no exception.  Dragon is one of the six polishes from this collection, which was released last February I believe, and Dragon is such an appropriate name! The color of this polish is pretty much exactly the color I imagine dragons to be - I can't decide if it's more of a darker mossy green or an olive green, or somewhere in between (definitely didn't mean to rhyme there).  Regardless, it's a gorgeous shade of green. But there's so much more to it. There is a gold/copper shimmer that really comes out in the sun, and there's also an amazing yet subtle linear holo! Holo, shimmer, and green? Perfection in a bottle, if you ask me.

This is my second polish from a England, and I can now officially say I'm a fan. St. George is the other color I have, and you can see my post about it here. Both polishes are gorgeous green shades, but they're definitely different! St. George is much darker and has a lot more blue in it, almost to the point that it leans teal. Dragon, on the other hand, is a definitive green color.

One thing I love most about these two a England polishes I've tried is the formula. Not only are the colors beautiful, but both could be one-coaters if you're careful with the first coat. They flow very nicely and apply like a dream. I took a bunch of pictures because I really wanted to capture this baby in all its glory. Hopefully I did a good job!

And now, without further adieu, here's two coats of Dragon with one coat of top coat.

Indoors.

Blurry, but I think it captured the holo nicely!

Indoors, natural light.
Indoors, artificial light.

So what do you guys think? Do you love Dragon as much as I do? Because I'm just a little obsessed. I wish I had bought more polishes during a England's promo, but I'm happy that I was at least able to get this one! I wore it for literally 4 days straight, which is a really big deal for me. I didn't get tired of it and I didn't want to take it off!

Anyways, enough of the rambling. Thanks for reading, and have a very happy Tuesday!
